ELT Forum invites you to get together with other English language teachers from all over Slovakia to discuss and share best practices, issues and solutions at its first international conference in English language teaching. The 2-day conference that is a joint event of Slovak Association of Language Schools, British Council Slovakia, Cambridge University Press, Express Publishing, Macmillan and Oxford University Press and is supported by IATEFL Young learners and Teenagers SIG will feature plenary sessions, discussions, practical workshops and there will also be an ELT book fair provided by our partner publishing houses.
The Friday plenary speaker is Michael Swan, the highly acclaimed writer of ELT materials and the author of Practical English Usage and attendants can look forward to his talk What is happening in English, so how much does it matter? The Saturday plenary talk What is Best Practice in Teaching English to Young Learners will be given by Helen Emery, the joint coordinator of the IATEFL Young learners and Teenagers SIG, and a lecturer in the Department of language and Linguistics at the University of Essex, UK.
